Arctis Nova 5X: A Multi-Platform Gaming Headset
Switching between game and mobile audio
The one-tap wireless change is useful for someone who alternates between gaming and a phone call or media. Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz serve different roles within the same headset, and notification beeps help flag incoming calls while gaming.
Battery and charging rhythm
The 60-hour battery is suited to buyers who want fewer charging sessions. When a charge is needed, USB-C fast charging is a practical fallback: 15 minutes provides six hours of use, according to the stated charging figure.
Controls for play and chat
Power, mute and volume sit alongside ChatMix for balancing game and chat audio. Those controls can make routine adjustments more direct, while the retractable microphone can be tucked away when a mic is not needed.
Presets and driver design
The companion app offers more than 100 presets for popular games, so buyers interested in game-specific audio have options to explore.
Neodymium magnetic drivers are part of the design; the useful takeaway is the combination of preset flexibility and a clearly defined driver type, rather than a promise of a particular listening result.
